Biography:
Brett Jolley joined Herum Crabtree Brown in 2000 after graduating
from University of Pacific, McGeorge School of Law in Sacramento.
Mr. Jolley's practice is primarily focused in the areas of land
use planning and zoning, CEQA compliance and environmental law.
Mr. Jolley also has experience working with water, trademark, and
real estate matters. Mr. Jolley has appeared before city councils,
county boards of supervisors, planning commissions, and in various
superior courts.
Prior
to joining Herum Crabtree Brown Mr. Jolley served as a law clerk
in the Legal Office of the California Integrated Waste Management
Board where he dealt with issues of environmental, administrative,
and public agency law. In 1998 and 1999 Mr. Jolley was employed
as a law clerk with the California Resources Agency where he assisted
in the 1998 CEQA Guidelines revisions and co-authored two interactive
environmental law resources on The Resources Agency's CERES website:
(www.ceres.ca.gov): the Interactive CEQA Process Flowchart and
California Water Law and Policy. After graduating from the University
of California, Santa Barbara in 1997 where he received Dean's Honors
and was a member of the Alpine Ski Team, Mr. Jolley worked for Senator
Patrick Johnston (D-Stockton) in the State Capitol as a legislative
intern.
