Alexander Thomas

Alexander Thomas joined HerumCrabtreeSuntag as an associate in July 2023, after his graduation from UC Davis School of Law and admission to the State Bar of California. While in law school, he served as a member of the UC Davis Law Review and Below-Line Editor of the UC Davis Business Law Journal. Alexander earned several awards at UC Davis, including Witkin Awards for Academic Excellence in Contracts and Administrative Law and Outstanding Brief in the intraschool Fall 2020 Appellate Advocacy Competition. In his third year, Alexander externed in the chambers of the Honorable Troy L. Nunley of the United States District Court, Eastern District of California. Upon his graduation, the faculty of the law school elected Alexander to the Order of the Coif.

Before law school, Alexander served as an AmeriCorps volunteer, assisting self-represented litigants in the Superior Court of California, County of San Francisco, self-help center. Alexander grew up in the San Joaquin Valley and foothills of the Sierra Nevada, where he developed a lifetime appreciation for the area’s waterways and trails. He lives in Stockton with his wife, Kara.
