Jaismin Kaur began practicing law in 2019. She graduated from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law in May 2019, and passed the July 2019 California Bar Exam.
Jaismin grew up in Stockton, attending Middle College High School. While enrolled at Middle College, she took college courses at San Joaquin Delta College. By the end of her senior year in high school, she earned over seventy transferable college units.
Jaismin stayed close to home for college, and attended the University of the Pacific where she majored in Political Science with a minor in pre-law studies. After transferring units from Delta College to the University of Pacific, Jaismin was able to complete her B.A. in two years. Jaismin graduated in the top ten percent of her class, and as a lifetime member of The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi.
After graduation, Jaismin attended the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law. She concentrated in Business Law, and was the Vice-President of the Business Law Association for two years. While in law school, Jaismin was a law clerk for Legal Services of Northern California, a non-profit organization providing legal services to underserved communities. Jaismin was also a law clerk at the McGeorge Bankruptcy Clinic, providing advice and assistance to indigent clients filing for Chapter 7 bankruptcy. Jaismin was an editor for The University of the Pacific Law Review, and a student member of The Anthony M. Kennedy American Inn of Court. She graduated in the top ten percent of her class, and as a lifetime member of the Order of the Coif and Roger J. Traynor Society.
Jaismin was a Summer Associate at Herum\Crabtree\Suntag in 2018, and returned to the firm after taking the July 2019 California Bar Exam.
